Facts For Life

The fourth edition of Facts For Life was released in the Kingdom of Lesotho on 7th April 2010. The publication which is a joint effort by UNICEF, WHO, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNDP, UNAIDS and the World Bank. The 2010 edition of Facts For Life is the result of a consultative process with partners and features the latest evidence and knowledge in the area of child health and well-being. It provides practical advice on pregnancy, childbirth, major childhood illnesses, child development, early learning, parenting, protection, care and support for children. The revised contains a new chapter on child protection that looks at how to keep children safe from violent and harmful behaviors and practices. In addition, the chapter on Safe Motherhood profiles dominant trends and positive practices in the area of newborn health. Facts for Life is now available online in English, French and Spanish in Word and PDF formats. Please click here for the same.
